Brenda Marwede, Owner, LCPC

Brenda is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Illinois and is also able to provide Telehealth for individuals in Florida. Her primary focus is on individual, family, and child counseling, and she works with a broad spectrum of clients across all age groups. Brenda specializes in working with anxiety, depression, parenting issues, and complex trauma. She is also passionate about the connection between nutrition and mental health.

Brenda earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois in 1997 with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling. Brenda holds a double major bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Biology from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Brenda is married and has three adult children, and spends her free time getting out in nature.
